Oleksandra Sokolyuk graduated in 1984 Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute named after AM Gorky specialty teacher of physics and astronomy.

She worked as a teacher of physics and astronomy specialized school №7 (city Kyiv). Teaching experience - 20 years.

Since 2004 works at the Institute of Information Technologiesand Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine. At the present time - leading researcher of technologies open learning environment.

Mrs. Sokolyuk successfully works on the tasks of researches: " Scientific and methodological foundations of designing of computer-based learning environment pilot secondary schools" (2004-2005), " Methods of use of computer oriented learning tools in physics at pilot secondary schools"(2006-2008)," Scientific and methodological foundations use of computer oriented tools in teaching natural and mathematical subjects in profile school "(2009-2011), " Modernization of school educational experiment based on Internet-based educational technology"(2012-2014). Since 2015 working on the objectives of the study "Formation of information and educational learning environment of senior pupils based on electronic social networks."

In 2010, at a meeting of the Academic Board of the National Pedagogical University named after M. Drahomanov, passed Ph.D. defense on the specialty 13.00.02 - theory and methods of teaching (physics): "Development Control and evaluative skills to high school students in learning physics in terms of computer-based environment." The study methodical basics of using learning technologies project for the development of control and appraisal skills of high school students in learning physics in terms of computer-based environment.

In 2014 Oleksandra Sokolyuk State Certification Commission awarded the title of senior researcher in specialty 13.00.10 - information and communication technologies in education.

In 2001 Mrs. Sokolyuk awarded with "Excellence in Education of Ukraine". In 2012 she was awarded the medal "Ushinsky K.D."

Mrs. Sokolyuk is the author of more than 50 - scientific papers and co-authored books: "The experiment on the computer screen" (2012), "Internet-oriented educational technology in school educational experiment" (2014), manuals "Computer oriented learning tools in physics at school "(2011)," The organization of training activities in computer-oriented learning environment "(2012)," Multimedia systems as a means of interactive learning "(2012)," The use of Internet technologies for the study of natural phenomena in the school course physics "(2014)
